Nokia unveils its Magic - A Smartphone with 41 MegaPixels Camera. Its called Nokia 808 PureView.

The Mobile World Congress 2012 has been a huge success with all the major players showing-off their innovations and products. At one hand we have HTC's and LG's Quad-core SmartPhones, on the other hand we have Samsung's Projector Cum Smartphone. But the most talked about gadget in the Mobile World Congress has been the Nokia 808 PureView - a SmartPhone which boasts a Camera of incredible 41 MegaPixels.

The Amazing Nokia 808 PureView with 41MP camera and 1.3 Gz processor and Nokia Belle OS

Nokia is known for its amazing Cameras, whether its N8 or N95, Nokia's Camera have often challenged even the best of the Digital Cameras. However, a superb 41 MP is really hard to digest!

We are indeed looking at an imaging flagship phone and a true successor to the N8. It's called the 808 PureView and it's expected to reach Europe in the next quarter for a price of 450 Euros. Before we move on to its craziest feature -- the camera, of course! -- let's run down the other key specs.

The Nokia 808 PureView with 41 MegaPixels camera!

The OS is Symbian Belle; the engine is a 1.3GHz single-core chip; the display is 4-inches corner to corner but its resolution is a Nokia-style 360 x 640 (nHD). There's 512MB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage that is thankfully expandable via microSD. A Pentaband modem increases the chances of getting a signal while globe-trotting, while data speeds will top out at plain HSPA 14.4Mbps. Now that Carl Zeiss-lensed camera: it handles continuous-focus 1080p, but is claimed to have an incredible sensor resolution of over 41-megapixels when shooting stills -- or 34-megapixels for 16:9 images. It uses some clever interpolation jiggery-pokery that condenses four or five pixels into one pixel, to produce a smaller file size for the output image. It's expected to arrive in May at a price of €450 and if you're curious, we've got a gallery of hands-on images and video for your viewing pleasure. Just follow the break for our first impressions.

For those of you who are not aware of Windows 8, Microsoft launched Windows8 with one main thing in mind - A single Operating System for PCs, Tablets and Phone! Yes, thats it! All the apps will work in SmartPhones, Tablets and Desktops.

And it doesn't end there...

The biggest problem plaguing the Windows tablet concept has always been the lack of a physical keyboard and mouse - two elements that are too deeply integrated into Windows to discard without inconveniencing users. Samsung has sidestepped these problems with a digital pen, dock, and wireless keyboard. Combined with the impressive hardware inside, the Series 7 Slate stands to be used both as a consumption device and a genuine productivity tool.
The dock, in addition to the necessary docking connection, offers full-sized versions of the ports found on the tablet, with HDMI, USB 2.0 and Ethernet ports available. The dock is also remarkably sturdy, with metal construction, and table- gripping rubber feet that provide a surprisingly stable base for the slate. When using the touch screen in this set-up, I found myself wishing that touch-screened desktop computers were so stable. The accompanying wireless keyboard is just as slim and light as the Series 7 itself, with chiclet-style keys and a cool brushed aluminum surface.
The Series 7 Slate is also light, weighing 1.96 pounds - lighter than many smaller 10-inch tablets we've seen, like the Acer Iconia W500-BZ467, which weighed in at 2.1 pounds. It's thin too, measuring less than a half inch thick. The back appears to be brushed aluminum, and the rich texture of the cool metal surface leaves you feeling that the slate, though thin and light, is still substantial.

Samsung Windows 8 tablets which were distributed in Developer build conference were 5000 in numbers. Distributed Samsung tablets are equivalent to series 7 slate PC, which has gone through multiple updates so as to fulfill the requirements of the customers. Currently, research is being carried out on Samsung Windows 8 tablets so to transform them to latest functionality which is rich in thin dimensioning and other parameters.

Apple has sold more iPhone in 4 years than all the Macs ever!

The iPhone has only been around for four years, but in that time more iPhones have been sold than all the Macs ever sold in Appele’s entire history.

If anyone has any doubt that iPhones, iPads and other iOS devices are the future if Apple, just take a look at the chart above from Asymco.  It shows all iOS products sold cumulatively versus all OS X products ever sold (Macs) over the past 28 years.

The total number of Macs sold is 122 million. In 2011 alone, if you tally up all the iOS devices including iPods and iPads, 156 million were sold—more than all Macs ever sold. In one year. All told,  Apple has sold 316 million total iOS devices over the past few years, iOS devices simply overwhelm OS X devices interms of how many are out there. No wonder Apple is making OS X look and feel a little bit more like iOS.

I don’t even know how to describe the steepness of that iPhone sales curve. Even “skyrocketing” doesn’t do it justice.

LG officially launched Optimus Vu in Korea

There had been rumors about the likes of a Galaxy Note Model from LG and these rumors have turned out to be true. LG has officially launched 'Optimus Vu'  in Korea and it has almost everything that was in the rumors.

The specs of the Optimus Vu include a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 processor with Adreno 220 GPU, 32GB internal memory, 8 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 1.3 megapixel front camera, LTE, HDMI, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct and T-DMB and a 2,080 mAh battery.

It has a pixel density of 256PPI which comes pretty close to 285PPI of Galaxy Note. It comes with  5-inch IPS display with a 1024 x 768 resolution, which gives it an aspect ratio of 4:3. Due to the 4:3 aspect ratio, the Optimus (90.4mm) Vu is wider than the Galaxy Note (83mm), which will make it even more difficult to handle. It is marginally thinner (8.5mm) than the Note (9.7mm) but that's not going to matter much when you hold it in your hand.

The phone will launch with Android 2.3 Gingerbread but will soon be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich
